Click the GitMeter icon in your toolbar to see the full popup panel with all actions and quick navigation.

Getting Started

  1. 1Install the extension from Chrome Web Store
  2. 2Visit any GitHub repository (e.g. github.com/facebook/react)
  3. 3You'll see GitMeter buttons in the repo header
  4. 4Click to save or submit — that's it!

Login

Uses your GitMeter account (GitHub OAuth). If not logged in:

  1. 1Click "Login to GitMeter" on the page or in the popup
  2. 2Sign in with GitHub on gitmeter.com
  3. 3Return to GitHub — buttons are ready
💡 No separate account needed — website & extension share the same login.

Troubleshooting

Buttons not showing on GitHub?
Refresh the page. Check chrome://extensions to ensure GitMeter is enabled. Make sure you're on a repository page.
Extension not working after update?
Go to chrome://extensions → find GitMeter → click the refresh button → reload GitHub.
'Save' button shows an error?
Check your internet. Make sure gitmeter.com is accessible. Try logging out and back in.
